If It’s Worth Producing, It’s Worth Filming!

At Gorgeous Media, we have a wide experience of filming live events – from school plays to the ordination of the Bishop of Lancaster, from university lectures to musical performances.

We know how much time and effort goes into a dance show, live theatre or gig. If it’s worth putting it on, it’s worth filming!

Multiple Cameras

At Gorgeous Media, we film every single event with a minimum of 3 High Definition video cameras to ensure you get a slick, highly produced, professional film.

Crystal Clear Sound

We use professional grade recording devices around the performance venue to ensure every tap, vocal, clap and backing track is captured as it was heard at the time.

Free In-House Design

We can either incorporate your brochure graphics and company logo into the artwork for your DVD or if you want, we can design it all for you. This is all part of the service.

Online Highlights

The more DVDs you can sell, the lower your financial outlay – we help you sell your films by producing a free online highlight of the show for your website/social media sites.

Why Might You Need An Event Film?

Events coverage can serve many purposes – it can be used as publicity for streaming on your website, or as event souvenirs, sold as DVDs or on USB sticks.

These days we can even sit your film on a pay-per-view viewing platform… that’s technology for you…

What We Do

We can work with your timescales – if you want to show a highlights film at the end of a two day conference, we can do it.   More recently, we have produced films for Laura Sandham School of DancePaula Boscott School of DanceOne Voice Community Choir and Lancaster Girls’ Grammar School.

Death, Tragedy and The Sacred

We filmed this lecture by Terry Eagleton last year at Lancaster Priory using a two camera set up and wireless microphone.

Editing turnaround was just a day. It’s always a pleasure to film lectures – there’s always something to learn!

Strictly Showtime

Paula Boscott School of Dance commissioned us to film their Strictly Showtime production at Lancaster Grand Theatre in 2016.

We filmed with a three camera set up – two from the auditorium and one from the rear of the stage.

The whole show was converted to DVD with full artwork and packaging included in the price.
